Grandmaster Lu Wankong, also known by his Taoist title Xuan Dao, was born in 1980 into a distinguished family of traditional Chinese medicine and metaphysics. At the age of twelve, he began his formal study of the ancient Chinese divination art Qi Men Dun Jia under the tutelage of his grandfather, the renowned metaphysics scholar Master Zhuo.
During his formative years, Grandmaster Lu lived in seclusion at a historic monastery in the Yellow Mountains and later on a remote island in the East China Sea, where he devoted himself to advanced studies of classical Chinese metaphysics, including Huangji Jingshi (The Supreme Principles of Universal Order), Taiyi Shen Shu (The Grand Unity Numerology), and Da Liu Ren (The Six Celestial Cycles).
Emerging from seclusion in 2011, he established residence in Shanghai, serving as Chief Metaphysics Consultant for a leading domestic financial corporation. His work integrates traditional metaphysical principles with modern strategic decision-making, specialising in Qimen-based Feng Shui design, strategic investment metaphysics, and auspicious naming for enterprises and individuals.
